Steve Wiggins received his under­graduate degree from Samford University with a major in chemistry. After employment in the pharma­ceutical industry, he returned to law school, where he served as an associ­ate editor of the Law Review. Steve joined Rotary in 1982 and served as Club President in 1989-90. He has served on the vestry of Christ Episcopal Church and the boards of the Community Soup Bowl, West Alabama Aids Outreach and Counseling Ministry Professionals.

In forty years of law practice in Tuscaloosa, Steve has handled a broad range of litigation matters in state and federal court. In addition, he regularly represents clients in property matters, drafting of wills, trusts and other estate planning documents, probate estate administration, and other elder law matters. Steve was born and raised in Andalusia and is married to the former Ann Ayer of Huntsville. Their daughter Caroline is a civil engineer with ALDOT and a former member of our club. Their son Raley is a lawyer in Montgomery and a member of the Montgomery Rotary Club.
