Mark Bartlett is the Division Administrator for the Alabama Division Office of the Federal Highway Administration. Through his staff of 24 professionals, he administers the $735 Million Federal-aid Highway Program to State and local partners throughout Alabama. Prior to his appointment to Alabama in September 2006, Mark served as the Assistant Division Administrator for the Georgia Division in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mark began his career with the FHWA in 1988 and has held a wide variety of engineering positions in various locations around the country. Mark is a registered Professional Engineer in his home State of North Carolina where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. Mark also attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where he was awarded a Master of Science in Civil Engineering.
