Food, fun, flowers, and fellowship marked the evening February 14 as Rotarians and guests, gathered at the North River Yacht Club for Sweethearts Night. The Crystal Room of the North River Yacht Club once again provided a wonderful venue, and once again the Lamplighters provided music for listening and dancing.

Approximately 150 were present for dinner, entertainment, dancing, and the opportunity to meet and visit with families of other members. Rotarians also enjoyed a special treat for this year: The Yellowhammer Inn offered a one night Sweetheart Special rate for only $79.

Rotarian Diane Salls and her Sweethearts Night committee deserve high praise for the evening. Thanks for all of their efforts! The organization, decoration, entertainment, door prizes, favors, and dinner menu were all a fantastic success, as usual. Diane serves in a long line of distinguished organizers of the event, including the late Tommy Todd, whose legacy was recognized by the Club in 2005.
