Last week The Rotary Club of Tuscaloosa welcomed State Senator Gerald Allen. Senator Allen reports that Senate will be back in session in February. Senator Allen provided us with a sample election ballot so that we could take a look at everything that would be voted on in 2 weeks. He fully explained the 12 amendments on the ballot, and provided hand outs of the presentation for pick up after the meeting.

Senator Allen also spoke briefly about the 2011 law that was passed by the Senate preventing governments from levying an occupational tax on its citizens.
